should I boost my cumulative gpa by retaking the pre requisite classes I got Cs in or should I take random classes to boost my cummulative gpa?

Retake prereq classes to show that you can do well in tougher science courses and also do well on harder science non pre-req courses (some people have even taken graduate level courses to prove that they are "worthy").

A few easy classes here and there won't hurt either, but you will need to do well in your pre-req courses first and foremost

I want to make sure, if I take pre req classes over again in a CC, will the grades average out? They don't, right? The classes I plan to retake are Cs. I did not get C- or lower.

If he got Cs in those courses the first time around, then what would retaking them at a CC do? Wouldn't adcoms just look at the Cs and accept them anyway? It's only if you get a C- or lower in a pre-req course when you might have to reconsider retaking them right?

Oh and btw OP, you better hope Odom resigns or else the Spurs are going to the finals this year! 🙂

You're joking, San Antonio? They are so over the hill and busted. Even if Odom leaves the lakers are still a better team than last year by acquiring Ron Artest. I'm calling another championship for the lakeshow in 2010.

You have to talk to your school/adviser about it. I know at UoP they require it to be a C- or lower to be replaced. Also you have to double check that you are allowed to take them at a CC to replace your grades. Make sure that you take it at a CC that is equivalent to the amount of units at your school.
