Boston interview date question

I just got an email form BU inviting me for an interview on February 28th in Boston. In the letter they also mention a regional interview that occurs at the end of January in California. Since I just did a Masters program at BU School of Medicine (which is across the street from the Dental School), I know about the city, school, etc.

Should I try to switch to a regional interview in Cali, or keep the much latter one in Boston?

I think the sooner your interview, the better it is. Plus, given the fact that you have been around the school, then there is no point in waiting until the end of Feb. to interview. Your interviewer will also be well aware of this fact. Do it in January.
