Does anyone know if Boston Children's and MGH are sending out interview invites yet? I see that one person has an interview at MGH, but I haven't heard of anyone else yet. Thanks!!

I know of 2 people with MGH invites (unfortunately, neither of them are me). Haven't heard of anyone getting an invite from Children's yet.

Rumor has it that in previous years Boston Children's has waited for the MSPEs to come out before offering interviews. May not be true, just what I have been hearing...

Hi! I don't usually post on here, but I saw your post and thought I could help answer. I got an interview invitation from Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics (BCRP) at Children's Hospital and Boston Medical Center. My email came at the end of September.

The BCRP says they issue invitations for interviews when enough information is available to make a decision, but that in most cases this is not until after Dean's Letters arrive on November 1st, especially for schools where grades are only revealed in the Dean's Letter. They add that this year most invitations will be emailed late on Nov 8th or on Nov 9th. (http://www.childrenshospital.org/bcrp/Site2219/mainpageS2219P5.html). I know that they receive about 1400 applications and interview about 220 students.

I feel like I should have remembered this from looking at their website, but it had slipped to the dark recesses of my brain. Thanks for the reminder as I anxiously await e-mails from Boston.
