Hey!

CAn you guys tell me where is a good, cheap hotel to stay at in Boston for BU interviews. I am seriously going broke with this application cycle....🙁

Also, it seems like BU interviews a lot of people, does anyone know how many they interview versus how many they actually accept?

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I live in Dorchester and have a roommate that goes to BUMC *where the dental school is- regularly in the mornin from our apt that is right near that hotel...so here's my advice... I think the best place to stay is definately at the DOubletree Inn that is next to the Bayside expo in DOrchester, MA...its the city right next to Boston... sort of like 5 miles away from where the dental school is... why this place is decent... because its pretty nice... its right off-across the street from the red line T-Stop so you could actually take the T(subway) right to the airport... and also.... the bus stop *CT8 is right in front of the hotel... that takes you litterally to the front of the dental school....

Cambridge is way far... this is city way congested... its a bitch to get to that part of town goin inbound... plus its very expensive ...its expensive everywhere but its more "expensiver"....

Im sure you can get a good deal via internet services... but the way the city is ... do your research on the location... it may look small on map but the dental school is located away from major T-Stops... so you're stuck getting there via Buses, Taxis (which can get expensive), and rental car (which you want to avoid because the roads in boston is very ...how do I put it... sucky!! and you will definately get lost)...

GOod luck on the interview!!!

my friend goes to Boston and he talked to someone on the admissions board and said that roughly they interview about 1000 and send out about 300 acceptances.

When I was applying in the last cycle, I went to go talk to the admissions office in Boston and they told me that they interview almost all their applicants that reach the minimum requirements.....
