I figured they r asking us to write our personal statement..on the website it says not to exceed 500 words but after 300,there is an annoying pop up which comes up after every letter u type and states dont exceed 300 words!! My personal statement word count= 642 words and it took me so long to reduce it to 300!!

Hello Friends,

I have already got into Bu last year but have deferred it for 1 year..
Will be joining next year.
Since I have already gone thro' all of the application/interviewing process,I guess I might be able to help you all in some ways.

1) Personal statement /SOP and fulfilling experience are 2 different things.

If you all are confused between the 2, well, you can write ur most fulfilling exp. online and send in ur SOP via mail.
If you feel that you were not able to express yourself fully in the online application and you need to present some more documents you can send them via mail..

2) All reapplicants just need to send in a new application. BU keeps ur files active for almost 1 year..So if u had applied last year you just need to send in ur new scores ( if u have retaken the test and got better scores)..or if u have had any work ex in the past year which you feel might add to ur application u submitted last year.
Your SOP,fulfilling exp..and stuff like this will not change..Check out the BU website..They have already mentioned what all needs to be done if you are a re applicant.

They wont interview you if you have already been interviewed once..Just a new application needs to be submitted.

3) Applications are considered complete when they have all ur score reports and a completely filled out application. They inform you by email when ur application is complete.

4) if you are selected for an interview..u are again informed by email..and then u will also receive a formal letter regarding that almost 2-3 weeks in advance so that you have enough time for preparing..

5) Last year there were about 10 candidates in each batch. Interview questions are not clinical based...You will be asked to talk about urself..And some questions will be based on what you have written in your SOP etc..Faculty is simply gr88..and you just have to be relaxed and confident.

6) Also, since BU has rolling admissions..try to apply as soon as possible..Last year many candidates didnt make it even tough they had 90+ scores coz they had applied late..and most of the seats were full by then.
Remember, the more late u apply the more tough competition it will be..coz u will be competing against less no. of seats.

I have written almost everything I know.Hope this helps.
Be confident..
I wish you all good luck.Hope you all get into the school of your dreams.
Bye.:luck:👍
