Hi! I'm heading out to Boston on Feb 12th for an interview! Has anyone already interviewed there that can help me out on how to prepare?? From what I've heard the interview is pretty laid back, but I was just wondering if anyone could give me some pointers for the interview!!

Does anyone know how full the class is yet?? I"m sure it's filling up, but I don't want to be interviewing for a spot on their waiting list.

Also, any comments about the school would be great...what does everyone think (ie., the city, the tuition, the people at the school...)

Where are you interviewing at? I interviewed at BU(accepted) and have one coming up at Tufts. If its BU, don't sweat the interview at all, just be yourself, as you should be at every interview. I don't know if the class is full but I know they have interviews well into in march and april so I'm guessing probably not.

I absolutely love Boston. Think New York, but CLEAN! The tuition is pricey but if you love the city you can deal with it one way or another, as I may do. I will have a hard time choosing between schools in Boston and UNC, if I get in(haha huh).

If you're around Tufts, try out the inexpensive Jacob Worth restaurant, Try Jake's Nibbler or the Chicken pot pie. Incredible, just the right atmosphere for me. Heck, that little place practically sold me on Boston right away.

Best of Luck to ya

Interviews at Tufts and BU are both incredibly laid back. At BU they will tell you all about their APEX program, and show you around the facilities, and give you lunch (typical interview). The faculty at BU was really outstanding in terms of being polite and jovial. There are several pluses to BU (laptop, DVD and/or books - which ever you are more comfortable with, large patient pool, and their facilities are really outstanding!).

Boston is a great city (and i hate big cities). The white mountains of NH are only a few hours drive away, you can smell the ocean in the air, there is tons of great history, and you just can't escape the collegiate atmosphere (with roughly 1.2 million colleges and universities in the area...or about 70 anyway).

You really don't need to prepare. Just be relaxed and yourself as someone earlier mentioned. At BU they will ask you stuff like "Oh, I see you took advanced ceramics during your third year...what was that like" or now, they might ask you what you thought about the Patriots winning the superbowl.

You will have fun!

Oh yeah...so why am I going to Tufts if BU was so impressive? I liked Tufts more, and was a bit more enamored with the reputation there as well.
