Bought the new MSAR, not enough data on International Applicants???!!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
msar's not as useful as the sdn brigade makes it out to be. try contacting individual schools for data.

Some of the info regarding international applicants is conflicting, some of the school websites show that they do accept applications from international students but in the MSAR it says they don't. it's very frustrating as it is not helping me narrow down which schools to apply to!! 😡

is there any school in particular that you have noticed it with...the only reason cuz I am actually following msar guidelines?!

Do a search on this topic here on SDN and you'll find tons of schools international applicants have successfully applied to and matriculated at...

Plan on getting above 31 on the MCAT while maintaining gpa above 3.5 and holding down meaniful extra-curricular activities....

Pm me if you have specific questions...

One school i saw this with was University of Tennessee Health Science Center. MSAR says no international applicants, yet looking at the school website i saw this
International applicants must have his/her transcripts evaluated by a professional credential evaluation service which inckudes the calculated grade point average (GPA). Failure to submit a professional evaluation may result in the delay of the application process
in other words, double check the school's websites!
