Is wearing a bow tie to interviews a good idea or will it make me looks like a tool? I want to do something that will subconsciously make me stand out secondary to everything else.
It'll make you stand out, but not in a good way. There's times to try funky dress things or flashy styles, but your medical school interview isn't one of them. Stick with the traditional suit and tie. Stand out by being a killer applicant. Is wearing a bow tie to interviews a good idea or will it make me looks like a tool? Word around the street is adcoms respond most favorably to bolo ties.
Don't forget your 10-gallon hat. The bigger the belt buckle the better.

I know it's anecdotal... but this guy showed up to interview days for schools he didn't apply to and still got in.

Step 1: Be incredibly attractive.
Step 2: There is no step 2.
Good idea to invest in plastic surgery.
Look at the Kardashians.

More surgery, more money.
Hey dude Kylie Jenner is self-made!!
They're all obnoxious as f*ck and more basic than bleach. I hate myself for knowing this much.
I actually like bowties for the right occasion, but would never wear one to a medical school interview.Idk why there is so much hate on the bow tie here. I come from a research background and the faculty who wore bow ties were always scientists I admired and respected. It might be an unnecessary risk, but I feel like if you have the quirky personality to rock the bow tie then go for it.

Heck no.
Unless your interviewers are a bunch of hand surgeons.

lmao his name is Brad Weiner
Perhaps we will get lucky and Rolex will come out with a bowtie.
But then it’ll be too flashy for interviews just like the watch issue.
