They each have 10, each don't make you buy $1600 programs just for the tests, etc.

Which set should I get?

I did BR 1-3 last year, so that's only 7 from BR if I buy them. I did all AAMCs last year. Can't use those.

I guess I'll get the 10 GS no matter what then.

My real question is...10 GS tests only or 10 GS + 7BR as well?

I'm thinking it's good to have practice tests from different companies so I don't get too used to one company's format. Make sense?

I only have 4.5 weeks left before my test, so keep in mind how many tests I can actually get done.

So?

I would say that 10 practice tests should be plenty. With just 4.5 weeks left, I would focus more on content review unless you already have that down or you struggle more on verbal.

Personally, I will probably be doing four before my MCAT, two from Kaplan and two from AAMC. In about a month, I'll know how that worked out.:xf:

content review for the last 4 weeks? no man, you definitely want to focus on practice tests! you do further content review based on what you miss in the practice tests.

i've been doing content review for 2 months. i'm planning on doing ~10 tests before my test starting this weekend. i'm going to do about 1 every 3 days. Day1: CBT, Days2-3: Review CBT and Do More Individual Passages from BR and EK 101, Day4: CBT, etc.

I have my plan down.

I just want to know if ppl think GS will be good enough or if I should mix my 10 practice tests with GS and BR tests.

Anyone?

From what I've read, GS should be good enough. There haven't been too many posts reviewing GS's FL. Whenever someone commented on them, they were generally positive. Stick with the GS tests since you're taking a test every three days. Now if you could pick and choose which Berkeley Review tests you buy, I might have suggested you mix them up. Actually, I probably would have suggested you take both. Nevertheless, there isn't enough of a benefit to justify spending so much money for their tests when you've used the first three and they don't allow you to pick which test to buy.

GS CBTs are OK, but nothing special. I bought them because: 1. They're cheap, 2. I starting doing practice tests really early on and didn't want to use my AAMCs, and 3. they're cheap.

I think you'll find that they are good practice, but not necessarily indicative of your AAMC practice test scores. PS and BS have rough curves, and VR doesn't seem that similar to AAMC. I've been taking GS PS and BS and EK Verbal as stand-alone, timed practice problems, and AAMC tests as actual timed practice tests.

By the way, the GS tests can be had on ebay for $20-$40. I don't think I would pay $100 for them. How is this guy able to sell GS CBTs? Doesn't GS give you an online account to access the CBTs like AAMC, BR, Kaplan, etc do?

I don't want a fraud account...😕

I assume the guy is authorized by GS to do what he's doing. Within 24 hours of paying my $38, I received an email with access codes to GS's online CBTs. The email came from GS, not the seller. I was skeptical at first too, but his ebay feedback convinced me.

haha, so you had to bid on it. anyone bid against you?

there's already 1 person trying to get mine, so i can see where this battle may lead...

can i buy just two or three of the GS tests instead of all of them together?
