So I'm starting to get to the point of what kind of rad onc doc I want to be and have considered pursuing different fellowships to receive more training in certain areas (SBRT, protons, brachy..etc) and wanted to ask particularly the brachy people if they felt that it was helpful.

The idea of spending another year in residency/fellowship does not sound appealing but focusing in an area of interest might be different. Life changes and/or responsibilities are starting to become major factors in my career and I would appreciate any advice... Thanks!

Thank you so much for the advice... I keep going back and forth on this and will consider my options carefully. We have a fair amount of training but def not as much as I need to feel comfortable in doing on my own. At this point, I'm leaning towards finishing up and have a grown up job for once.
