Intresting you bring this up. My father is a medical physicist and works with oncologists dealing with prostate cancer. One day while home on vacation he asked me if I wanted to watch an operation and I jumped at the chance. I got to see them shove a probe and about 20 foot long needles up this 80 year old guy. Needless to say it was a mess and looked very painful. It was rather funny though because the whole procedure was like battleship. One guy would yell out b-12 and the doctor would use the grid to shove the needle into the b-12 hole. I felt sorry for the old guy, but Im sure its better than the alternative.
