Break from Studying- The Dark Knight!

So... I need a break from over a month of studying. And I shall do so by watching The Dark Knight on the 18th.
It's going to be SO FREAKING AWESOME!! Anyone else totally stoked for this film?

I am excited as well! I already took the MCAT this month and will be relaxing for the rest. I read in the newspaper that Heath Ledger's performance for this movie is buzzing of oscar worthy.

The Dark Knight is the only thing that is keeping me sane during my summer of MCAT studying. Last night I got two tickets to see it in IMAX early through the viral marketing campagin, so I'll be going on Tuesday and Friday. WOOT!

Wow, advanced screening, I'm super jealous! I bought my IMAX tickets yesterday (a week in advance, maybe a tad premature) . The reviews have been stellar so far on rotten tomatoes, but I refuse to read anything more than the brief description because I feel like they're going to give something away. It really is a shame about Heath, I think he is going to be unbelievable in this role and I'd love to hear his thoughts on what it took to get into character.

he did tell ppl what it was like getting into character while they were filming. just do a google search.

Yeah I've seen what he said, but it doesn't seem to go into too much depth. I feel like it was hard for journalists to ask him good questions when they hadn't even seen how he performed the role.

I don't think a week early is too early at all for IMAX tickets. I live in Chicago, and I bought my IMAX tickets in June. They sold out the same day they were released. Heath Ledger locked himself in a hotel room for a month to work on the voice, worked on the voice with a voice coach, and kept a diary about the joker. No one knows what was in the diary. Apparently he also watched "A Clockwork Orange" in his trailer in between takes. Do I know too much about Batman? For sure. Did I spend time figuring out viral clues last night instead of doing TBR titrations? Check again. Is it keeping me sane 26 days and 19 hrs before the MCAT? You bet.
