Materials Used
Achiever 😍 Bought all 7 test and used all tests 1-5 and pieces of 6 and 7
Destroyer 2010 😍 Did it once and repeated missed problems and then repeated missed missed problems, repeat as necessary
Math Destroyer 2010 😍 Went through all tests once and a second time up to test 8
Feralis Bio Notes 😍 Went through once in detail very slowly (8-10 pages per day, had the 62 page version)
Wikipedia 😍 You already know this is the ish!!!
Topscore (Nothing specaial Just more problems)-But score wise the most similiar to real dat scores
Chads Videos😴 so boring and hard to get through... happy we can fast forward
Cliffs- Read this once (As I went through Feralis I ddint even remeber the reading the second half off this book..wierd) It is needed but FERALIS is 1000000 times more useful
CDP- math, pat 👎 JUNK!!!!


Studied 7 weeks hella hard. I would say I averaged 7 hours of actually studying each day.

Dont waste time studying light material because everyone will eventually burn out towards the end. The time should be spent on core material Destroyer, Achiever, Math destroyer, the rest is fluff.

Materials-

Bio- Feralis Biology Notes IS THE MOST IMPORTANT BIOLOGY MATERIAL. I studied this hard one time through. I also read and forgot most of cliffs one time through one month prior to going through feralis bio notes. These notes are perfect. Any words you do not know highlight and wiki it. Everything on my test was in feralis notes... I wish i studied them better. I am disappointed with my score because if I went through feralis one more time I would have murdered this section. oh well. Did not do Destroyer (no time). PAT-(This is a hard section on the real dat....prepare for it) Crack Dat Pat is a waste of money. For the same money I would have bought bootcamp and got more for my money. If you have purchased this program already DO NOT RELY ON IT TO GET YOU A 20+, IT WONT HAPPEN. Achiever is what I give all credit to in order to achieve a 24. Achiever is slightly but not much harder than the PAT on the DAT. People say achiever is over kill but this do not apply to every section. Achiever is like the real PAT and is an absolute must. CDP DO NOT BUY.

The eyebaling game also helped me with angle ranking

Grids is a must for hole punching

Pattern folding is difficult at first but after I did about 15+ practice PAT test unfolded cubes were a breeze.

TFE became easy also after 15+ practice tests...I never line counted to till after about 10 tests in to perfect TFE.

Keyhole/TFE you WILL HAVE to practive with achiever

QR- Math destroyer is a must to learn the spectrum of problems that will appear. But on the real test it was easier than destroyer. When you can do destroyer test in 40 minutes and get 2-3 wrong your ready for the exam. Achiever again was a huge help to getting my tming down. Hate to continually bash CDP but there QR is too easy and is a waste of time again.

RC- OMG this sucked and I suck at it. Just practiced with Achiever and went from a 13 to a 17 after 5 tests. Im a slow reader and I always have to go back and re read sentences. The key was to just completely focus on the passage as you read no matter what strategy you use. The real rc was most similiar to topscore in length and difficulty (topscore is slightly easier). I read about two paragraphs and then would read through all the questions and answered the ones that I could. Reading the first two paragraphs helped me understand the questions as I read through them alot better than just going straight to them. I could never remember all 15-17 questions there is always some search and destroy being done for the last couple questions. Did not have questions that required information to be interpreted from multiple paragraphs. I am most happy with this score 🙂

GC/OC- I watched chads on fast one time through and did the quizzes and each video. Other than the hearing the explanation to basic problems I havent seen in two years, Chads was only worth the 30 day membership I purchased. The real material that makes good scores was Destroyer and getting timing down with Achiever. If you know Destroyer front to back for GC and OC and can do Achiever you will be in the 20's for sure. For OC I had one reagant I had in OC 1 in school but was not in chads notes or any other test I have ever taken.


Random thoughts
I have read ALOT of breakdowns and one thing they did not say is that the test is BASIC AS HELL. Make sure you know the basics for example, basic markonicov reactions because you may see those for like 3 questions, Basic e volt, but know all the ways to convert given info to mole and then find the mole of another. Looking back I wish I did not focus on the once in the blue moon questions seen in Destroyer and Achiever because none of them showed up. The DAT TEST THE BASICS of all sections, make sure you know them. The basics are found throughout destroyer, math destroyer, and then push your skills and timing with acheiver.

DONT FORGET TO USE THE FERALIS BIO NOTES THEY ARE AMAZING. We should have to pay for those notes.

When you say basic as hell, does that apply to the bio section as well? I've been working through Feralis' notes, but there are ALOT of details in there.

You should know what every word means in feralis. Feralis is not detailed it is covers the basics of many topics... It is just like cliffs which is a basic book about all the topics we learn in detail in school. SO KNOW ALL OF FERALIS. Every line is important dont skip a word if you dont know what it means wiki it....if you read a paragraph and think what did i just read, read it again every line is important.

It is alot but just remember feralis is about as long as all the powerpoints you need to memorize for a upper level biol final.

Harder topics use armando, there are others people too that have good videos on a topic on youtube. The visualization of harder topics makes it stick like glue.

Highlight everything you didnt know or was refreshed in the notes because you will forget it again and again. You dont want to read all of the notes a million times just the parts you need to study. Just like destroyer, after i went through it once it was rough but the second time I went I just did the ones I missed or ones that refreshed a topic not the blantantly easy.

KNOW ALL OF FERALIS to get 20+....you cant pick and choose what you think is important in it.

It would be a waste of time to go deeper than what she wrote in those notes too. I felt like most of the test was a vocab test and man was I pissed when I didnt know the term that was IN FERLIS NOTES.

If I could go back I would have purchased either of those instead CrackDat or topscore but I did not want to spend another 100.

I did one bootcamp bio test and it seemed like a good source.

Im glad bootcamp opened because I believe we are being shafted by companies that sell dat material. CDP, Topscore, even chads in a way gives us watered down material for practice and it costs alot of money for crap. I encourage people to buy bootcamp or qvault before CrackDat and Topscore you will be happy because you get so much more for your money.

You better use achiever for pat

Did the line counting method work on the real DAT for TFE?
I've heard that they've made them line counting "proof".

That is not a good method to rely on so you should study like it doesnt work.....I never relied on the line counting method but more of a visual interpretation...so i dont know if it works because i never really thought about counting lines i focused on getting the correct answer by matching the lines as needed and visualizing the lines they way they should project out or in the screen

long story short i dont know

if you are worried use achiever, it is line counting proof and is on par with the dat
