Breakdown of observation hours.

Hello all,

I currently work as a rehab aide at a local hospital. Would you recommend breaking down my hours when reporting? For example, have different therapists verify hours within their area (neuro, Ortho, ICU, NICU) rather than having all of the hours verified as acute hospital in PTCAS.

Definitely break apart your hours! It will help strengthen your application to show that you have a very well rounded understanding of PT. When breaking the hours, make sure you have at least 20. Also make sure to leave some of the hours as acute care as that too will help strengthen you app. The big ones to consider for the breaks are Neuro, Pediatrics, Geriatrics, Ortho, Acute Care, Cardiac Rehab.
