Brenau sent out an email on November 15 saying to expect to hear from us in 1 month. I was curious if anyone has heard anything yet.

I got an email Jan 3 that said it would be a month until I heard back then I heard back today asking for an interview!

I interviewed in December and received a offer a week later. Letters are suppose to go out next week sometime.

Sorry for the late reply. I did accept and I believe only 18 people have secured their spot so far. Interview was very laid back, more of a conversation

I know they do rolling admissions so if you did not apply early that could be the reason for the delay.

Wow that’s really strange. I would definitely contact Melissa as soon as possible. Also do you meet their GRE requirements? I applied to Mercer and because I didn’t meet the GRE they didn’t look at my application at all and informed me that I would need to meet the requirement to get a review.

I’m over 20 points higher than their minimum GRE requirements so I don’t think that is the issues. I emailed this evening so I hope I hear back soon.

Melissa should contact you very soon. You applied much earlier then I did so there must have been some mistake in their review of applications.

Melissa just emailed back and said the committee had not gotten to my application yet.

It's pretty odd that you haven't received any info about an interview yet. I applied in September, interviewed in December, and just recently accepted their offer... On the bright side, I was told that there are still a good number of seats left, so don't worry just yet, they should get to you soon!

Thanks! They didn't say how many seats are still open! But there were 12 people at my session, and it was on Jan. 19!

I did the in-person interview. Also, I did not know there was an option for a Skype interview, as there was an interviewee who flew out from California to attend my session on Dec. 15.

What do you think about their program? I got an invite for an interview but I have not decided whether to go or not.

The faculty are really nice and very encouraging. The facility is fairly new as well. The other students seemed to really like it and stated the teachers were always willing to help. It never hurts to visit if you haven’t decided on a program yet.
