I found out today that I got an interview at Brenau for Nov. 30th! I’m very excited as it is close to home for me! Has anyone else had an interview and can give me an indea of what to expect? Also is anyone else interviewing Nov. 30th?!

I interviewed at Brenau last year. The process is as follows:
1)Interview with 2 Brenau prof and 2-4 other students (group interview). Interview questions are what you would expect them to be ranging from "Why OT?" to conflict resolution when working in a group to were involved in any research in undergrad... they will vary but nothing is out of the ordinary.
2) Essay over an OT related topic (it sounds intimidating but you read a short quote and respond in about 1-2 paragraphs, i think they give you 30 mins i don't remember)
3) Informal Q&A with current students in the program

I didn't get to experience a one-on-one school interview but I will say in a way it was more comforting assuming everyone else was also nervous, plus hearing them respond sometimes helped me remember something I wanted to say, although sometimes what they said was also what I was planning on responding but for the most part I would say I enjoyed it versus interviewing alone.

Does Brenau have more than one interview round? I applied the 21st of October and I haven't heard anything yet.

Hi! I sent in my app about two weeks after you did, I was just wondering if you've heard back from them about an interview yet?

Unfortunately not yet, but I wouldn't be too worried because school have been closed for the holidays and I'm sure they won't get back to us later on. If you dson't mind please keep me posted on if you hear anything back.

I have an interview with them 1/25/19
Still trying to get off work to go down there, from New Jersey

I got an e-mail yesterday stating that they were keeping my application under review, but that is it! I interviewed in November/December
