Hello,

Just received an email from BCU saying I was placed 28/44 on the waitlist. The admissions chair also said that all 41 spots on the waitlist were exhausted last year, so I guess there's still some hope. Do most schools have such large waitlists when they don't accept many students (in this case, 32)?

I'm on their waitlist too. I think with this school there is definitely hope on the waitlist. I think 44 is small waitlist from what I heard. How do you feel about their Candace for accreditation?

I feel pretty confident that they will get accredited. Had my interview today, and they cleared up my confusion about the accreditation status. Do you know your position on the waitlist?

No they didn't tell me. I still feel confused about what students do if they don't get accredited, but I'm confident they will too.

If they don't get accredited, a couple schools (I believe in Pennsylvania) agreed to take BCU's students.

During this past admissions cycle (class of 2019 enrollment) I myself was placed on the waitlist. I believe BCU exhausted their wait list this past year as they had a student drop their admittance roughly three weeks before the program began due to medical reasons. I myself was contacted at this time but due to the extreme short notice I was forced to decline the offer. By that point in time I would also guess others who were contacted either felt they had too short of notice as well, or had already accepted offers from other programs.
