As a pharmacist, do you "bring work home" with you? Or are you able to leave work at work? Am I going to be able to just hang out at home when I am off or will I be constantly updating/reading about new stuff?

It depends on your job, but for the most part if you're not on-call, you can leave work at work. You have to keep yourself up to date with new drug/disease information, but that is expected of any pharmacist anywhere.

I think bringing your work home with you is illegal. Gotta leave the Vicodin and Percocet at the pharmacy....
 It sounds like you've been tempted before... 😛 j/k

Are you talking more about bringing the "stress" home with you or actual work that you need to do at home?
