Isnt there a tube that goes from the ear directly to the nasal cavity and therefore the back of your throat? Somehow this is related to the acoustic nerve? Beats me

Hey Koochooloo... speaking of anatomy, do you think our new anatomical naming system will work... incorporating tubercle, furcation and membrane into every structure of the body?
A page would read like this... The inferiormost body tubercle is made up of 5 podiatric tubercles covered by an inferior digital membrane in between which there are 4 podiatric furcations.
Sounds much better than... The foot is made up of 5 separated toes covered by skin, no?
