For those that are in, or are familiar, with the programs: Are we allowed to submit ACT scores in lieu of SAT I and SAT II scores? I noticed on the Brooklyn BA/MD website that they want you to send SAT scores, but mentions nothing about ACT scores. The same exact thing goes for the Sophie Davis program as well. I'd like to think that even though they don't mention it, doesn't mean that they don't accept it. Can somebody clarify this for me, because my SAT scores aren't really "good" and I'm pretty much riding on my ACT scores to get me into college...let alone a BS/MD program.

SD requires an ACT score, and places more emphasis on it than on the SAT (which is still expected--you're applying to CCNY when you apply to SD, and they do require it, though their requirement is low).

the programs communicate when determining admissions, so people are rarely offered interviews/admissions at both. SD admissions relies heavily on your essays, interview, and GPA. good luck.

I thought the ACT was their own type of placement exam that they offered by themselves. So basically I would be submitting all SAT, SAT II, AND ACT scores...or would I have to take another "ACT" placement exam? I'm confused now 🙁

The ACT is like the SAT in that's it's a standardized test administered by a third party for college admissions. It's not a placement exam. Most schools will accept both the SAT or ACT to fulfill the same requirement.

I interviewed at both but was rejected at both -.-.

Brooklyn Ba/md plays heavyy emphasis on GPA and SAT scores!

Sophie Davis i'm not too sure, a lot of people from my high school had low GPA and got in so I assume more emphasis on interview.
