Just started doing bro's micro deck today in preparation for test in June. It's about about a thousand cards. For anyone who has done it, or is currently doing it, what are you thoughts? Sufficient for step/comlex?

Have you used Sketchy Micro? Cannot recommend it enough. I took the Micro NBME last semester and rocked it with just Sketchy + First Aid. I'm hoping it'll be the same thing for Step 1

I was thinking about doing sketchy + making anki based off that. Either way, I don't think I can remember every little fact from every video without anki cards. What was your experience with all the minute details we have in micro?

Do them. I gained a very solid foundation to micro from those cards. I'm doing sketchy now. I think both are highly beneficial. Microbiology was my highest scoring section on a practice exam. Otherwise as the other poster has done, sketchy + FA is pretty much the same thing, only this option puts FA into flashcard format.

Seriously, ZERO flash cards necessary for sketchy IMO. The images are made to be memorable, and months later i still answer Uworld questions correctly by remembering things from the images. I admittedly did watch them multiple times each and knew them all cold at one point, so that might be a factor, and I do plan on watching them more as things get more hazy in my long term memory.

If flash cards are your thing, do Bros and don't waste your time making cards from sketchy.

The reason I say FA with sketchy is because there are some topics not covered by sketchy that are in FA (like bacterial genetics, immunology things, etc.). For what overlaps between the two I found sketchy to be invaluable for memorization and instant recall on questions. Different strokes though

My ex-girlfriend accused me of having micro deck and it was the reason she left me.
