Brown vs UMich vs Pritzker vs NW

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
UC or Northwestern for the location. All good schools. If you want to be on the east coast then Brown or UVa might be better.

Do you have any pros/cons you'd like to share like, I don't know, every other X vs Y thread? I mean, if you don't say anything about yourself, circumstances, preferences, concerns, etc., on what basis are people supposed to advise you?

I was actually trying to see other people's reasons as to why they would choose a certain school.

Most people will choose by location and proximity to family. Name brand matters to a degree but all 4 listed here are very good schools and nothing outside of a Harvard/Hopkins type of name would be considered a real "upgrade". All the additional details vary too much from person to person.

gotcha, thank you for the input!

Wow, I see double the votes for UChicago vs NW, so far. Wondering why the big difference? Is it mostly due to differences in location/patient populations/community involvement, or are there other factors? I interviewed at both places, and definitely felt the social justice vibe at UChicago, but felt similar passion and excitement from students and faculty at both places. Understand a real feel is hard to gage from virtual interview days.
