is this book any good?

The book is in outline format, so it is probably better suited for Step 1 review rather than coursework. Also the immunology section seemed somewhat weak compared to other sources.

For my M1/M2/Step1 Micro, besides course lecture notes and kaplan materials, I used:
-Levinson and Jawetz Microbiology/Immunology examination and board review
-Microbiology made ridiculously simple
-Janeway immunology text is available online
-I purchased a microbio text (Murray) but never used it

most people I've talked to agree that clinical micro made redic. simple is awesome for micro....even if you don't like the attempts at humor/drawings/etc..is has all that you should need in a concise format with good charts too

I actually liked BRS and used it to review for Step 1. It worked fine for me and it is certainly more than enough at least for Step 1.

I hated CMMRS. Personal preference.

Along these lines, has anyone used High Yield Microbiology and Infectious Diseases? I'm looking at using it for Step 1 because I'm a little annoyed with CMMRS. I can't seem to find any reviews on it anywhere
