any 1 using this book by costanzo?
any comments

i am an MS-1 and i found it useful for physology and endocrine classes. It is pretty good, but I would guess it is not one of the first books you would buy for step 1 unless you've exhausted all the path / done uworld etc

BRS Physiology Cases & Problems is a "review" book that is more suitable for classroom use during your Physio course and you might even be able to use it during your Path course using both BRS Path & Physio (to learn pathophysiology), but I don't think this book is enough or high-yield for the boards. However, the blue Physio book is a MUST for Step 1 prep, know this book like that back of your hand, you can get through the entire review book in 2-3 days if you're strong in Physiology, if not, add a few more days to your physio schedule and take the time to master each concept presented in this book (i.e., BRS Physiology not the Cases & Problems)

i've been reading the blue BRS basic phys book for the last two years, and have probably gone through it 2 or 3 times. that being said, for my step 1 studying i am only using the cases and problems book. the concepts brought up are in fact high yield, are written solely in the context of pathophys, and it does a good job of illustrating how to apply the info offered in the reguar basic phys book.

in fact, a good strategy is to just read the phys of FA and then do the corresponding chapter from the cases and problems book. and of course plenty of other questions from other banks. but anyway, i tend to think the cases and problem book is good if you are strong in phys to begin with.
