Just curious for those who have used the BRS book series and also taken step one, how similar are the questions given at the end of each chapter to the questions I can expect to see on Step One? Also, are these questions similar to what USMLE World and Kaplan Q Bank feature?

The qs in the BRS books are easy and straightforward compared to either the real Step 1 qs or the UW qs. The BRS books qs are ok to test your understanding of fundamental concepts but to see if you can apply integrated knowledge of the concepts under test conditions do UW qs.

Hope this helps.

if you are looking for questions that really test your knowledge of pathology for Step 1, you should do Robbins Review of Pathology (at least the comprehensive exam at the end). UW is good, but not as good as Robbins when it comes to pathology.

Good Luck

P.S: I second what BabyPsychDoc said about BRS path questions
