Hi, just wondering if anyone accepted to BU did NOT respond to the letter of acceptability. Does anyone know if responding is critical to receiving an offer of acceptance?

I didn't respond after getting their acceptability letter. I don't think it matters. I did however write a thank you note a day after my interview.

darkmatter, were you accepted? thanks

I was accepted a little more than a week ago.

I don't think the acceptability asks you to respond. It's customary to write a thank you letter, so I did that, and since I'm a procrastinator I sent it after I received the acceptability letter. The letter only asks you to tell them you're interested if you have been accepted elsewhere and would rather go to BU.
