N u hav good stats wid experience so i dont think u will hav much trouble for this as overall package helps a lot!!!!!!!

hello guys,does anybody know how many applicants have gotten their acceptance at BU.i am still waiting for the interview call from them ,so just wanted to know the chances..:xf: as for how long they are going to conduct interviews and send out acceptances..

Hi..just wanted to knw how many seats are still there at BU..any idea..?
Is 25th Feb last interview batch or do they interview after that also?
How many students they interview in one bacth and around wht's the acceptance rate???

do they accept lesser no of students from the last remainaing batches??

i am not really sure of how many students are accepted but i think there are 75 positions in BU. i think each interview batch has about 8 - 12 candidates. i am not sure if it matters that they accept any specific number from a particular batch, but if u are good i guess it does not matter they might take all from a batch.

so be confident and be yourself, the interview is very casual and they make u feel really comfortable. all the best to u and i am sure u wil do well.
 
At least 50 are already accepted.
And Yes it is a tolling admission process the earlier the better.
But that does not mean you don't have a chance. the fact you got an interview only makes your chances very very high.

Somebody, tell me how to do the babana dance!!!! i couldn't wait to do it and now that i got accepted to BU i 'otta know how !!!!soooooooooo happy!!! Guys keep the spirit high.I interviewed on 4th feb & i got the acceptance letter today.!!! yup!!! So it's still not too late for those who are still waiting for IV calls!! good luck guys!!!😍🙂🙂

@morphology.. BU does not have a clinical exam.

How much time do they take to decide on your application after the interview?

yes, there is no practical exam. They do not ask clinical questions on the interview. So yes, no crown preps or amalgam restorations... The interview is really nice, friendly and general - I know that you might have heard it a lot, but they simply want to talk to you... Do you have an interview date?

Nobody at all can tell you WHEN you will know... As Mr.Kahan said it might be less than a day, a day or up to two weeks. Just keep the hope alive! Good luck!!! :luck:

No, i have not any date yet for interview, but i wanted to know if i get call. so, that's why i asked. I don't know from where i can learn for 3/4 and 7/8 crown preparation. in other colleges they ask to do that. Do you know from where i can learn?

@morphology : you should try contacting a local dentist who might be willing to hep you with it.

Also search the forums and there is a doctor in Virginia who has a course for bench test..see the thread with bench test and the doctor has posted the number.
Also there is a dentist in Bay Area, California who does this..First of all try to look for someone in your area and volunteer at their office, make good relationship with them and they should be able to help you with preparations..

There is a course at UMDNJ also, they charge 5000$ just for 5 dayssss and duggans course in California.. Google them up and you should get info. good luck.

BU does not have a bench test and the interviewis very casual. they just ask general questions and nothing technical. i think most of the questions they ask are posted on this thread. feel free to P.M me if u need anything else.

I heard that some students are accepted immediately after the interview (like same day or day after)

What about the other students, when do they get to hear from BU?

pdha1 got accepted from 4th Feb batch..after that no more acceptances? 11th feb ?? next is 25th Feb.. are there any interviews after that as well??
 
Hi, I sent my Application to BU thru CAAPID on 21st Jan 2010 and got an "Application under Review" email on 27th Jan 2010. Is there anyone who got a review email in those dates and has received an interview call??
My stats are: Part 1: 92, TOEFL: 110, GPA: 3.7, 2 yr DA exp in US, 1 yr research exp in US

Hi,

I received my Application Under Review email on 25th January, 2010. I am still waiting very desperately for the interview call. My stats are 91/114/3.8......but I have no research experience.

pdha1 got accepted from feb 4 and chillpill from 12th nov batch. How abt feb 11 and feb 25 interview batches. i think they have one more interview on 5th march.
