BU ASP:anyone deferred from 2007 to fall 2008?

Hello,
I had deferred my admission to AS program from fall 2007 to fall 2008 in BUSDM .
Got an email few days back from Ms.Reed asking me to confirm my intention to enroll in the school next fall.She said that we are supposed to pay additional $3000 by Dec 1st 2007.She'll be sending in the documents soon by mail.

I have also confirmed my intention to enroll by email.Have not received any letter/email since then.
Did anyone who's case is just like mine hear from her?

dO REAPPLICANTS TO BU HAVE TO SEND THEIR ORIGINAL NBDE AND TOEFL AND ECE SCORE REPORTS AGAIN TO COMPLETE THEIR FILE . THEY MENTIONED IN THE WEBSITE THAT DOCUMENTS WILL BE MAINTAINED FOR ONE YEAR .

No I guess you dont have to resend ur docs..However, u do have to make a fresh application ..U can write an email to Ms. Reed and get this confirmed.Its given on the website.

Hi Richa..I too have deferred my admission from 2007 to 2008 fall and received the email abt payment of $3000 by Dec1st 2007.I think there is nothing more to it.We need to confirm our intention to join by making the payment in time.Thats it.Good luck.

I received an email from Ms.Reed today .The email just confirmed my username and password of my application.Guess, this is the name/password we used when we had applied last year..
Did u get tht?

I deferred my admission to next year too. I also got that email today. I think they got confused with something because the subject of the email title clearly indicated for new applicant. They must be too busy at this time.

Well ur already on board , n thats really awesome. Could u guys j help and let me knw what r dos n donts for the BU interview as i am due to appear in 1 and how many places do they fill, I gt this info that its a personal interview not dental.

Hi Kappydent..Yes the interview is very informal.They just want to know more abt u and see if u r a good fit to their prog..thats it.No dental related qs.Nothing to worry abt 🙂.Good luck.

Can u plz let me knw bout how many students do they actually take every yr..What scores are usually competitive..n also how is the interview like

Hey PERL,

Well, They took 75 candidates last yr..I guess the no# of seats offered for ASP is given on the website.
As for scores, Acc to me ,I feel anything above 90 definately gets you an interview...and if you are also good with ur SOPs,Resume ,u have a good work ex,etc..and ur performance in ur interview is good then u r definately in..But, wht counts most is ur part 1 score. This is my personal opinion tough.

Interview as such is cool..No clinical questions as such..The faculty is simply awesome,and very friendly.They just want to know more of us. Wht are our aims,goals,our past experiences ,why u chose BU etc etc..

Hope I have answered all ur queries. Better go thro the schools site .Maybe they have increased/decreased the no of seats this year.
