BU email that application recieved

So this morning I saw an email that I'd recieved from BU. The subject line said application recieved and there was no message other than that. I thought it was wierd since AADSAS website still says my app hasn't been mailed out. I called AADSAS and they told me that it hasn't been mailed out and they were just looking at the online application. I dont know whats goin on. I had my GPA verified on July 25th and have just been waiting. Anyone else have a similar experience or can help me figure out whats goin on?

Some schools like BU will look at your online application just to get the ball rolling. This is normal. Also other people have reported getting the same empty email as you did. You'll get another email regarding supplemental information soon.

They have access to your online application. You should probably expect a suppplemental request via email probably after they receive your hard copy application/LORs and DAT scores. If your GPA has been verified July 25th expect your application to be mailed out 4 weeks after this. Early-Mid September is when you should be expecting to hear from the majority of your schools.
