Has anyone had luck looking for BU housing?
I don't even know where to begin...
It's a choice between expensive and outrageously expensive, I suppose...

i was in boston for undergrad.
try looking on craigslist for no broker fees (if you do go with a broker, don't go with comm ave associates, just my 2 cents).
there are more college age students and young professionals in areas like allston, brighton, cambridge, etc. a studio will run you $1k/month, and gets about $150/month cheaper as you add roommates (e.g. 2 bed place might be $850/person per month). if you have more questions, you can PM me.
good luck.

there is some BU owned housing like a block or 2 from the dental school that quite a few dent and med students live in.......from what i understand its kinda expensive, but not ridiculous...best thing to do is find a roommate......its really convenient to be that close, especially during the winter.....i think its called James Court apartments or something like that......u apply to live there through BU so check out BU websites to figure it out. I actually got accepted to live there but decided to live somewhere else...all i did was fill out the online app. and eventually they called me back. good luck
