I do know of folks who hv sent in a notarized copy of the ECE report ..but if I were U I wuld send in the sealed copy.

The interview at BU was the usual. They treat you very well & everybody is friendly.They ask you typical questions that come up looking at your CV, SOP etc. You are interviewed by one faculty member.

most schools have rolling admissions..thus easrly applications are encouraged, not that u dont have a chance if u apply on the last day but earlier u apply the more chances u have ...

It seems that early applications definitely get preference. I am curious to know though how many students are called overall by the end of December, just so we know what the admission rate is like for these students. Anyone have any idea?

Hi,
The most important criteria for getting into bu is your part 1 score.it matters a lot.if you very decent/exceptional score you'll get your acceptance within 10-12 days.Don't think otherwise you don't have any chance.Usually they call 7-8 students per batch.-every thursday.They have 65 seats.So anyone above 90 is considered having good chance.

thats not true.
u have a chance even if u apply on the last day .
easrly applications are better but that doesnt mean that if u apply last min with great scores , u don stand a chance.

i know atleast 5- 6 people who interviewed in feb last year and got in.

its not that early applicants get prefernce , tis just that as the applications come in and interviews are held , accepted students come to know by dec i think and the class starts filling up . last min there may still be a chance depending on how full the class is plus how strong ure application is.
eg; a person with a score of 92 has more chances of getting in with an early application than applying last min,
im not saying that the applicant will not get in . but chances are tougher.

My interview was very short (7 mins), I guess they have your file with them already so they pretty much know ur stats but they will go thru it with you again .which means they are confirming..so know the nos. ; as for the rest "talk abt urself" u can start off with whatever dental relevant stuff u think is most imp; if there is a loop like a bad GPA avoid it ; be honest; and sound enthusiastic not tensed 🙂 . This s what worked for me I dunno how it was for the others.

interview is mostly personal..they would like to know more about you...no technical stuff was asked to me and to many whom i know...so just relax, be urself,it is one on one interview.....good luck !!! 👍
