BU Interview

I have an interview in late Jan, and I'm certainly going to attend.
If you have an acceptance from a cheaper school, you can take the liberty of dropping the interview at BU. However, BU is a good school, imo. Costs quite a bit, though.

when did you guys submit AADSAS apps? My status still has blank on it even though I've confirmed over the phone last fall (twice) that I am complete.

I was offered an Interview this week for the end of February but I'm going to turn it down. I imagine if they would have offered me an interview last semester I would have gone, but I guess I'm just not that interested in BU - especially now that I have put down a deposit.
I am in your position too, I have a few acceptances that I am happy with so I am going to turn it down as well.

Hey guys BU has an annual report up in their dean search website. It has loads of info from predoctoral admission stats to post doctoral admissions stats. It is great information. You may not go to BU but I think some of it is relevant to dental school in general. I personally went to the BU interview on Oct 29th, it was pretty obvious that the group that I was interviewing with would go somewhere else if they got accepted at another school. They probably were the impressive crowd with strong stats. I think the people who are getting invited now may the people who missed out in the first pass on other schools. The dean that was making the presentation talked about focus on the local Northeast crowd since a lot of California people would choose to stay nearer to California even if offered acceptances to BU.

I got a BU interview yesterday too. If it was just a tad earlier I would most likely go. 🙁

BU interviews are always by email.
Also, keep the faith! 👍. If you look at past cycles, most of the accepted students interviewed in Jan, Feb or March. So there is still time.

Email. They scheduled me for Feb 22nd. I am gonna cancel it first thing tomorrow. (If I remember...)
