for those of you who have applied to BU, what does your portal say rightnow?....

At this stage we are determining if your application is eligible for interview. Generally, interviewed candidates have an overall cumulative GPA both total and science of a 3.3 or above and their DAT academic average and total science is at 20 or above. This is a general guide; many other factors come into our consideration of a candidate: community service, experience in dentistry, motivation toward dentistry, letters of recommendation, applicant essay, credit hours/course load and competitiveness of undergraduate institution, etc. Your application may remain in this status throughout the entire cycle as we will continually review it against the total applicant pool. We will contact you via email as soon as any further decision has been made regarding your application. We have a lengthy review process and ask for your patience during this time.

really. thats probably better then what mine says! i feel like im about to be rejected. mine says, at this time the comitttee is deliberating if your application is elgibile for interview. etc etc etc, its a whole HUGE long paragraph....😱😱 under my BU decision date it says 7/18 which i guess is when they recived my app. did you guys have a decision date later then 7/18? thankss

I think it just means that they are actually reviewing our applications! No worries!! You should not take this to mean anything...

Mine says the same, but I haven't submitted my secondary app yet. So I am not too concerned. Do you know if your application is complete with everything?

What is your decision date? Mine says it is complete at this time etc., decision date 7/24 (just showed up yesterday though) and I was in the first batch.

My decision date is 7/19...but they probably just received my DAT scores and the check. Mine also showed up yesterday and I was in the second batch.
