Congrats to everyone who's been accepted!!! :soexcited::soexcited:

Ive been able to narrow my acceptances down to either BU or Louisville but im having a hard time choosing between the two.

Both schools tend to have equal pro's and con's (for me at least) and I'm doing a military scholarship so tuition/fees are not a factor in my decision. So I'm thinking it really comes down to the area and where my wife and I will be happiest.

Boston would be so fun because there is lots to do, but with the cost of living being so high I wonder if we would even have any extra money to do anything fun.

In louisville we would have much more cash to do things, but there's much to actually do in louisville compared to boston.

Does anyone have any insight or know of things that I may be forgetting to think about?

BU for sure. Life's too short to miss those funs!

What is it you like to do that Boston offers and Louisville doesn't? Not saying that Louisville is similar to Boston, because it's not at all, but I am actually curious..

Ocean stuff - going to the beach, whale watching and all the other things that can be done in that category

Sports - I really love any type of professional sport and Boston has everything and most of the teams are pretty decent too. I also love snowboarding.

Then just the big city lifestyle. Museums, shows etc. There is always going to be something to do and a lot of social events touring through the city (concerts, etc.)

I probably wont have enough time to really enjoy all these things while in dental school, so I'm leaning more towards Louisville, but I would just hate to look back and be wishing I went to BU.

Plus maybe we could just move to Boston after dental school. Then we would have more money and time haha
