Hey,

I'm having a hard time thinking of how to answer a few of the questions that I know they will ask.

"Why Buffalo?"

Unlike many of the schools, Buffalo doesn't seem to "advertise" and encourage people to attend... how should I answer this?

"What can I go back and tell the admissions committee that will convince them that we want you in our upcoming class?"

Once again, no clue.

Thanks for any suggestions.

When they ask you what you want them to tell the other people on the adcoms, they are asking you what you wanted them to speak with you about that they didn't...and why buffalo, talk about how good the program is and how you love to ski...

Just say go Sabres and go Bills and you'll get in. We LOVE our sports teams. LOVE them.

Buffalo tries to be technologically advanced--they brag they were one of the first to use electronic curriculum, they use microphones in lectures (but I am sure in other schools its the same), and I can't think of anything else. Also, like the other poster said--you want to ski, if you have family in Ontario, you can say you want to be close to relatives, or something of that sort. Usually the interviews go well--act professional, talk to everyone (other interviewees, the students, staff) and ask a lot of questions (this shows interest). Buffalo is a great school and it is one of the cheape$t.

Good luck,
