Hi, I plan to apply for endo residency in 2019 cycle. Buffalo is up in my list but I heard that dr. Pantera retired and now someone else is the endo director. I heard some stories about how poor he treated his residents. Could anyone please confirm if it’s true? Thanks

Hey buffalo alumni here....Panteras were awesome. The director is some Saudi now, but co director is pretty hott and Awesome Brazilian girl, either way it’s s good program in my opinion for a reasonable price.

Thanks. I’m considering Buffalo bc of its affordable tuition. But I’m concerned if what I heard is true.

Hey I’m sorry I misread the post...I don’t know much about the Saudi...the Brazilian clinical director is gorgeous and amazing at endo though....I did 2 premolars and 3 molars with her, she’s very well rounded and she’s good at teaching, the residents like her too.

But I’m gonna be honest mate...residency can really suck at times, especially when your doing advanced procedures that are difficult to learn, unfortunately some PDs are better than others at teaching, but I guess you have to take the good with the bad.
