Buffalo program

Does anybody know what is happening with the Buffalo program. I guess they withdrew from ERAS this year. Are they closing for good?

I think so for the immediate future, but who knows what will happen in the next few years. Things could always change.



All we know is this year they are not taking anyone for sure.

There have been some issues with stability in this program over the years.

It is my understanding that the teaching is spread over a number of hospitals and that the buy-in when it comes to teaching is lets say 'variable' at the different sites. The people out of that program I have met so far seemed to be reasonably happy with what they got out of it.
