no they usually wait untill the last day, which is technically aug. 6th, the first day of school. You should hear something by mid August at the latest.
When does school start for the dental school? Just wondering how much time I will have to move out there...🙂

August 6th is the first day of classes. When I interviewed in Pitt, this 2nd year guy from Florida told us that he got the call a day before classes started in Pitt. He sold his car, bought a ticket and moved overnight!

August 6th is the start of orientation. It last until the 16th. There are a couple of classes during that time but the regular class routine doesn't start until the 18th.

You're right, but I doubt that they wait until the 16th if someone doesn't show up for the whole week and a half! 😛
