Can some one tell me what the heck "bumpp" is??????
I keep seeing it in many threads and I have NO idea what it means!!!

A post in an attempt to move the thread back to the first page or to the top of the page.

I was told BUMP stands for "bring up my post"
cool...I learn something nearly everyday at SDN

If you want to sound naughty, you can say "bumpity bump!" This word is interesting. Although in its original meaning it stands for "bring up my post", the word "bump" means to collide with or to knock against something. If you want to bring your post to the top of the page, you "bump" the rest of the threads down to go to the top. That's how I understand it first.
