Bunion 3e vs bunion 4e, Gerbert.

Anybody seen both books together? I was thinking of getting the new one, but only if there is significantly more material than the classic.
Anybody read through both?

We used it at DMU. I used the 3rd edition and it was fine. I haven't seen the 4th edition to see if there are any huge updates.

NYCPM students use 'Textbook of Bunion Surgery, 4th ed." (Gerbert).

The premise of what you need to learn in school is presented fine in the 3rd edition. After 3rd year and whatever test you take, put that book away and don't ever read it or talk about it again
