Still in residency but started a blog not too long ago to talk about dealing with burnout (Woman. Surgeon. Rawr) on Word Press. It is real and doesn't give everyone a diagnosis of depression. I am still working through how to deal but I am realizing that although we have control over how we take care of ourselves (ie: exercise, get hobbies, sleep), I think we ultimately need culture change to improve burnout rates across medicine.
