its coming down to the wire.

i have 1.2 weeks left before the big day.

i feel so burnt out like i cant study anymore....did anyone feel like this towards the end????

i finished detroyer and reading the kaplan book. now i am just doing the kaplan practice online tests then crack dat pat before doing the achiever tomorrow. (im doing a test a day then on to top score) so im actually doing a test a day until my DAT date....is it even. i feel so unprepared even though i've been studying since mid june.

im so delusional right now that im starting to go crazy!!!

I got really lazy the last few days of studying, but just hang in there! Your almost done. This might be a sign that you need to take a day off. Good luck! 👍

You'd be fine. Sounds like u've studied a lot and now you just gotta trust yourself. I started studying later than you, and took the test on 8/11 and it turned out fine. Have faith in yourself and just relax and try your best. Try taking a break for a change, it will make you feel better.

i know how your feel. my test is at the end of this week and i am really tired of going to the library every day all day. but you have to keep going. i went through a faze like you about a week ago. i felt horrible and just wanted to give up. i had burnt out on the Kaplan and destroyer stuff. and felt like i wasn't even learning anything or absorbing the material anymore. i took a day off and then i picked up the Schaum's biology book and have been studying that now. it helped a lot because it has a lot more detail than kaplan and has got me going again. i think just mixing it up so you keep finding stuff interesting is important.

I agree. I feel the same way. I have been studying for a while, although when I started it wasn't very intense. But my test is suppose to be next Friday and everything I learned in May/June is totally forgotten. So I've been studying all day, everyday. Actually I haven't left my house since last Saturday. It's f***ing depressing. What is even more depressing is that I'm contemplating pushing it back til 29th or so...so another week of this torture 😱.

But, when its done, it's done. I'd rather do this and do well than have to retake it...and study 3 more months!!

So, take a break and then keep on going.

thanks guys sooo soo much. i think after reading your comments, it really made me pick up the slack and have faith in my self.....

all i know that it will pay off in the end.....HOPEFULLY

good luck to all!!!!!!!!!

I agree with you, you just need to keeping changing things up so the materials still seems new even though you have been through all of it already.

Jo-

Get out of the house and go to some coffee shops are something. I did all of my studying at book stores and coffee shops and I would change places if I got sick of the place or what I was studying.

The same thing happened to me yesterday. I was almost on the verge of giving up after taking an achiever test. I felt horrible - felt like noone's gonna accept me!! But today I woke up and took a Topscore test to boost up my confidence and it worked great!!

PS: I take mine on the 30th - when do y'all plan on taking it?
The worst part is that I'm still working on my personal statement...sucks!! I have yet to apply!!!🙁(

Thanks for the advice dannyd.🙂

Well I am scheduled to take mine on the 24th...but gen chem is really giving me trouble and I have yet to study QR (I am absolutely terrible at it) sooo...based on that I will probably call them on Wednesday morning and reschedule to the following Friday. I still feel like I don't know anything 🙁

Mine is on the 24th and just be careful not to burn yourself out too much. I got sick with a fever last weekend so just take care of your health is what I have learned. You lose more time if you don't when you get sick.
