Is business calculus acceptable to most schools in place of regular calculus?
In my personal case, no it was not. I had to take calc I.
You need to ask each individual school. There is no set of standardized requirements.
You don't want to take business calculus. It really sucks. I took it once but I got dropped because they lost my tuition check. I took regular calculus the next time and liked it so much better. I really hated having to apply math to economic problems. I didn't major in business for a reason. It bores me to tears.
Doubtful. I know that my school wouldn't accept business stats in place of regular statistics. I'm sure the same would apply to math.
it depends on the school. each school has different standards on what calculus they accept.
Yes ! they do! I emailed about 25 schools and they all said yes. Only one or two said no, but for the most part they all said yes because I sent them the course syllabus and description.
