i have recently graduated with a bachelors in business at a university with a 2.94 gpa and not finding a job so im thinking of a field change. I was a pre-med major but thought it was overwhelming and changed to business but this was when i was a freshman, only 17 years of age and stupid. I am now 22 and i feel like i have the drive and motivation to do pharmacy. Im passionate about helping people and the money is good too. So what do u think i should do in order to become a pharmacist. i was thinking going to the local community college and do required coursework. but i am thinking the low gpa will hold me back from getting in pharm school. I was thinking this pharm school: http://www.midwestern.edu/cpg/ I WOULD REALLY APPRECIATE YOUR INPUT. thanks a lot in advance.

Both my husband and I have undergrad degrees in fields far from "science." Mine is in English and his is in Business Admin. He finished with a 2.8 or something and we are both taking all of the science and a few other courses that weren't fulfilled in our undergrad degrees. There are quite a few..11 for me and 12 for him. He works full time and I stay home with our 16 month old while we are taking these classes. It's going to take about 2 years for us going part time. You can def. do it. You just have to take your pre req's and do VERY well in them. Since you have a Business degree, you prob. have a lot of classes to take anyway...Getting A's will boost ur GPA and show an upward trend in your academics!

Good Luck to you...We need the luck as well!!!
