BUSPM Physiology

I am a first year at BUSPM and I am struggling with Physiology. I was wondering if there are any upperclassmen or students who know how to succeed in this course and any advice on what I should be doing.

As of now, I read the textbook and the PDF lecture notes and sometimes rewatch the lecture captures but I am still unsatisfied with my score from the last exam.

Any advice or comments on how to tackle this class would be much appreciated.

Youtube. It has done me wonders on a lot of the difficult concepts. Med School Made Easy has some pretty good videos, same as KhanAcademyMedicine.
