Busy time to take CS?

Hey all,

I'm an IMG from Europe, participating in this year's match.
I find myself in the position of having to take CS now, and get the results before march, to be in time for the match. I have to wait 3 weeks for ECFMG to process my request, and only then I can pick a date.
Is this time of the year really busy? Do you think I'll get a date in time = december?

Yes this is a really busy time, because a lot of people are in the same position that you are in. But once you get your permit, sign up for the email notification service. Also there is a plug-in for firefox that refreshes the page every couple of seconds, I have heard people getting the dates via those two methods.

Oh good, I hope it'll work out...
I got 237 on step 1, 264 on step 2 CK, but just failed CS... I'm afraid interviews are gonna stop coming, and that I'll never get an IM position with a failed attempt.... 🙁

ask for a few days off and literally constantly refresh the NBME registration website. The email service is really no good, most dates are taken within 30secs of showing up. I've found two dates before and it was all through random schedule checking. People try to swap dates sometimes, and I think I caught someone doing that and took their date
