I'm about to purchase an occurrence-based policy through PRMS for moonlighting. I am currently in fellowship and feel nervous because I haven't bought med malpractice insurance before. Have there been others who have purchased a policy through PRMS? Would appreciate helpful comments as opposed to trolling comments. Thanks.

If you’re moonlighting first ask if they will cover. Many will.

If it’s just moonlighting the policies are pretty cheap—PRMS was similar to everyone else.

edit for trolling comment:
moonlighting is for nerrrrrrrrrds

Hi, along the same lines but for per diem work 1099 contract, does anyone have suggestions in regards which company may be best without dealing with tail coverage?

CAP has a trust involved and rep doesnt recommend using them for per diem work.
Looking into other companies but if anyone has had a good experience with a certain company in California, would greatly appreciate the suggestions.
