Can anyone tell me about when C arms became widely available for pain procedures?

I had a patient ask. I’m not referring to when C arms were invented and only available at Hopkins, etc.

I’m asking when more than half of the country starting using c arms for pain?

Probably in the 90's.

mid to late 1990s.

the pain practice that i took over bought their first c-arm in 1998.

My pain fellowship was in 2003 so probably a few years before that. Look at the first edition of Raj’s pain textbook. First edition was January 1996 I think.
