you should be fine. have you taken the MCAT yet? one grade in one hard class shouldn't make you or break you.

I totally hear you on that one. I am a post bacc and just received a C+ in physics I. As post baccs, we are supposed to be the one's who get only A's but sometimes, that doesnt pan out.

I got a tutor for next semester for physics II and I am moving on. Nothing to do now but try to kick a$$ in whatever classes you have left. Good luck.

Sorry about that C!! 🙁 🙁 Like everyone has said, it's one class out of many. Just keep working hard and leave it in the past. Sorry your prof was such a dipstick!! 😀

Yeah. I hear. It sucks. I had C+ in my first semester of physics. Newtonian physics is as hard as it looks. Now, I'm comfortable with it, but that's after 2 years.

I got a post-bacc C in biochem and still got in to multiple ranked allopathic schools. MCAT was the key for me. Good luck!

All my other science classes were above a B+

It depends on how well you did in Ochem II. If you got an A it would be forgiven as Ochem II does build upon some Ochem I material. Also, taking Biochem and doing well in it would help. Also, if you have a high gpa (3.6+), it would be far more likely to be dismissed as an aberration of your true ability.

did you take Orgo II? I didn't do too hot this past semester in orgo but I spoke to my advisor about it and he told me that as long as you improve the next semester, you will be fine because med schools will note that and realize that either a) you were screwed by the mean which happens or b) something happened in your personal life or whatever but that you were able to turn it around.

i seriously doubt that one C+ will cause you to get rejected from med school if you have been doing fine all along and aced your MCAT.
