Just wanted some opinions. I've had an upward trend since I transferred to my university, about 3.0 before, have had a 3.8 since. This last quarter I took calc 2 for the sake of have a years worth of calculus. I had that, Physics 2, Bio 2, the physics lab, plus extras (manage a restaurant 30 hours a week, 5 hours a week at ER, MCAT study). I ended mixing up my dates and showed up to the second midterm completely unprepared and bombed it, but should finish with a C. Everything else should be an A. How badly will this effect my application for this summer? If I'm asked about it, how should I approach it? Be honest and say I had a lot going on and I've learned about time management? Or just say it was a tough class? I had to take the math/engineering major calc courses to fit with my work schedule instead of the bio major courses, but I feel like making too much of an excuse would just come off as whiney. Thanks for any input!
